Houston, January 25 (RHC)-- Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner met Tuesday with members of a Cuban business delegation that is visiting the United States.
During the exchange, Mayor Turner reaffirmed an interest on the part of business executives in that U.S. city to strengthen trade relations with Cuba, and urged both sides to take advantage of the new possibilities under the trade regulations adopted by the Obama Administration.
Cuban diplomatic sources reported that the visiting Cuban delegation toured facilities of the Bayport Container Terminal, the major deep water port in the Greater Houston area in Texas, and held talks with port authorities.
