Havana, February 27 (RHC)-- Namibian Prime Minister Hage Gottfried Geingob said in Havana that his country will always be grateful to Cuba for its support during the independence struggle.
During a visit to the National Zoo, which recently received a donation of animals from Namibia, Gottfried said that Namibians will have a permanent debt to Cubans for their solidarity and friendship, which are based on historic relations.
Zoo director Miguel Abud Soto explained the visitor about the park, located in the Havana municipality of Boyeros, which treasures 144 animals, including lions, elephants and rhinos that came for the African nation in 2012 and 2013 and have contributed to the exhibition and the genetic improvement of species in the zoo.
Prime Minister Gottfried´s agenda in Cuba also includes official talks with first vice-president Miguel Diaz Canel.
