Havana, March 29 (RHC-Minrex) – Cuban vice president Gladys Bejerano Portela on Wednesday signed the condolence book opened at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Havana over the fire at a shopping center in the Kemerovo region, which has caused dozens of fatalities, as well as serious injuries.
On behalf of the Cuban people and government, Bejerano, who is also Cuba's Comptroller General, conveyed sincere condolences to the Government of Russia, its people, and especially to the victims and relatives of those killed in the accident.
Other Cuban leaders signing the condolence book at the Russian embassy included Ricardo Cabrisas, vice president of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Economy and Planning, and Abelardo Moreno Fernández, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.
