Havana, July 17 (RHC)-- Cuba will defend principles such as non-interference in the internal affairs of states and the right to peace in preparation for the next Summit of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Anayansi Rodriguez told the press in Havana said that a Ministerial Meeting of the Non-Aligned Coordinating Bureau, to be held in Caracas on July 20 and 21, will serve as preparation for the Summit of that bloc slated to take place in in Baku, Azerbaijan, next October.

The diplomat recalled that the founding principles of the Movement were ratified at the Summit held in Havana and the battle for a just, democratic and equitable international order, as well as the rejection of unilateral coercive measures.

Rodríguez said that the participants will once again speak out against the blockade imposed by the United States on Cuba and its intensification with the application of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act.
