Havana, Oct 24 RHC) As of Saturday, Cuba has a total of 6,534 patients diagnosed with Covid-19, after the confirmation of 55 new cases in the last 24 hours. Nineteen of the new cases contracted the disease abroad.

According to a press release from the Ministry of Public Health, this Saturday, 479 active patients remained hospitalized,  474 of them with stable clinical evolution, three in serious condition, and two critical.

No deaths rere reported over the last 24 hours,  so the number of fatalities remains at 128.

In the last weeks, Cuba has implemented the New Normal stage; however, the authorities insist on the self-responsibility and the fulfillment of the hygienic-sanitary measures to avoid the propagation of the virus.
