Havana, February 27 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel and the Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader ratified Friday the historic ties of friendship that unite the two nations.
The Cuban president informed on Twitter that, in a telephone dialogue with his counterpart from the neighboring country, they reaffirmed their shared will to cooperate in the areas of health, science, and innovation.
Cuba and the Dominican Republic resumed relations on April 16, 1998, after the visit of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
