Havana, March 8 (RHC)—Cuban health authorities reported on Monday 873 new COVID-19 infections and two fatalities over the last 24 hours.
In a nationally televised briefing on Monday, Cuba´s Chief Epidemiologist, Dr. Francisco Durán explained that by midnight, 4,451 positive cases have been admitted to the country's hospitals with Covid-19.
To date, 56 566 people have been diagnosed with the disease caused by the Sars-Cov-2 virus and 350 have died on the island.
Havana continued to report the most cases with 362. Granma and Mayabeque followed with 94 and 67 cases respectively.
