Havana, March 26 (RHC)-- Cuban health authorities confirmed on Friday 832 new cases of Covid-19 and five deaths in the last 24 hours.
Thus, the Caribbean country accumulates 70,634 infections since March 11, 2020, and 413 deaths due to complications caused by the disease.
To date, 21,425 people remain hospitalized, of which 3,733 are suspected, 14,734 are under surveillance, and 3,318 are still active with the SARS-CoV-2 virus, said the national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, in a televised press conference.
Havana continued reporting the most significant number of cases, with 514. Santiago de Cuba followed with 74, and Camaguey with 49.
