Havana, August 6 (RHC)-- Cuban health authorities reported on Friday the death in the last hours of 75 people due to complications with Covid-19 and the detection of 8,886 positive cases of SARS-CoV-2, which causes the disease.
With today's figures, the Caribbean country accumulates 439,899 diagnosed with this coronavirus since March 11, 2020, and 3,259 deaths.
In a televised briefing, the national chief of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, pointed out that 43,388 samples were studied the day before to confirm the new cases.
The territories with the most infections were Havana, Cienfuegos, Ciego de Avila, and Holguin.
