Paris, June 15 (RHC)-- Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas Ruiz led the Cuban delegation to the annual meeting held on Tuesday with the Paris Club, to evaluate the progress of the medium and long-term debt reorganization.
Following up on the agreement signed by the parties in 2015, Cabrisas explained the economic situation of the Antillean nation, aggravated by the siege imposed on it by Washington in a global scenario of crisis. According to the island's embassy in France, the meeting with the Paris Club took place in a constructive climate of mutual understanding.
Prior to the exchange, the Cuban Deputy Prime Minister held a meeting with the President of the Paris Club and Director General of the Treasury, Emmanuel Moulin.
According to information published by the Cuban Foreign Ministry, they discussed the progress of economic, commercial and financial relations, and reaffirmed the willingness of both parties to continue deepening ties in several areas.
