Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, and the African Group reaffirmed their full support for the draft resolution to lift the U.S. blockade against Cuba

Havana, Nov 2 (RHC) Namibia, Equatorial Guinea, and the African Group reaffirmed Wednesday in New York their full support for the draft resolution to lift the U.S. blockade against Cuba.

Speaking during the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), the representatives of the three delegations rejected Washington's punitive measures against the Caribbean Island, as well as the unjust inclusion of Cuba on the list of State sponsors of terrorism.

They affirmed that the blockade is a violation of the human rights of Cubans and hinders the development of the Island.

Likewise, they highlighted the historical relations of brotherhood and solidarity that unite Cuba and the African continent.

The 77th session of the UNGA will devote two days of debates to analyze the draft resolution to lift the economic, commercial, and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba. (Source: PL)
