Havana, Feb 14 (RHC) U.S. activist and general coordinator of the Hatuey project, Gloria la Riva, visited Radio Habana on Monday to deliver a solidarity donation to the station's English department.

Accompanied by U.S. students, and members of the group, the activist thanked for the opportunity to support with her modest efforts the work of the radio station's workers, which she described as the Voice of the Revolution and the Truth.

In thanking for the gesture of solidarity, the general director of the radio station Tania Hernández recalled that the visit coincided with World Radio Day while highlighting the work of Hatuey's activists in favor of the struggle against Washington's blockade.

The Hatuey project appeals to the goodwill of the citizens of the United States and the world to help Cuba in any way possible, either with monetary contributions or by obtaining donations from pharmaceutical suppliers and medical personnel.
