Karl Marx

Havana, Mar 14 (RHC) Karl Marx's ideas are an essential emancipatory tool, Cuban academics considered on Monday, at a tribute to the revolutionary, thinker, political and social philosopher, on the 140th anniversary of his death.

At the Ñico López Communist Party Higher School, professors from that institution, academics, researchers, and scholars from the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment (CITMA) and the Ministry of Higher Education, reflected on the validity of Marx’s work.

At the event, where the interpretation, appropriation, and contributions of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, to the Marxist theory were highlighted, several researchers and professors received the title of Doctors of Science. (Source: PL)
