Decision of the US Lower House on Cuba is rejected in Venezuela
Havana, April 4 (RHC) The Venezuela-Cuba Mutual Solidarity and Friendship Movement rejected in Caracas the decision of the Foreign Relations Committee of the United States House of Representatives to support a bill that prevents the Government from normalizing relations with the island.
"It is historic that the Cuban Revolution, on the path of anti-imperialism, socialism and internationalism, resists the vile challenges imposed, to achieve the self-determination of the peoples against any form of foreign interference that harms independence and national sovereignty," said a release.
The text stressed that the Solidarity Movement maintains its position and will to promote peace and integration, strengthening the paths of freedom that Simón Bolívar and José Martí dreamed of.
“We demand that Cuba be removed from this list!” the text read, referring to Washington's decision to include Havana in the list of countries that sponsor terrorism, a decision rejected by a large part of the world community. (Source: Prensa Latina)
