Europe for Cuba carries out new actions against US blockade on Cuba
Havana, April 4 (RHC) The channel Europa por Cuba announced from Paris the beginning of its initiative to carry out a "global tsunami" of actions for two months against the US economic, commercial and financial blockade on the island.
The coordinators of the platform, José Antonio Toledo, Haydeline Díaz and Patricia Pérez explained that Canadian solidarity organizations will be in charge of materializing the launch this week.
According to the promoters of the channel created in 2020, the name of the campaign responds to the idea of developing activities throughout the planet that show the rejection of this policy in April and May, as waves of solidarity from one country to another and from one continent to another.
"The associations, personalities and individuals that join, will carry out from street actions to statements and expressions of condemnation on social networks of the blockade imposed on Cuba more than six decades ago," they detailed.
They explained that each organization is responsible for preparing its activity, depending on its characteristics and possibilities, always with the intention of achieving a true tsunami against the US siege, which passes through America, Africa, Europe and Asia.
"The important thing is that the repudiation sounds throughout the world," said Toledo, Díaz and Pérez, who announced the start of the campaign in a brief broadcast on YouTube, an audiovisual network through which the channel broadcasts a program of around two hours. (Source: Prensa Latina)
