Havana, April 8 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez said Friday that Cuba and Angola have confirmed their common willingness to strengthen their political, economic-commercial, and cooperation ties.
On his Twitter profile, the foreign minister described as pleasant the meeting he held with Adão Francisco Correia de Almeida, Minister of State and head of the Civil House of the Angolan Presidency, during which the historic ties of friendship between the two nations were ratified.
Cuba and Angola maintain ties in several strategic sectors, including pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and promote agreements in education, agriculture, and culture.
Some 2,58 thousand Cuban collaborators provide professional services in the African nation, mainly in the health, higher education, defense, energy, industry, internal order, and hydraulic resources sectors (Source: ACN).
