Belarusian university delegation begins visit to Cuba
Havana, April 17 (RHC) - An important delegation headed by the rector of the University of Minsk, Andrei Korol, will begin an official visit to Cuba on Monday, the ambassador of the Caribbean nation in Belarus, Santiago Pérez, reported today.
The delegation of the Belarusian Ministry of Education is also made up of the dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Elena Dostanko.
As part of their activities in Havana, the visitors will be meet the First Vice Minister of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Investment, Ana Teresita González, as well as officials of the Foreign Ministry.
They will also hold a meeting in the rectory and different faculties of the University of Havana, and in the Higher Institute of International Relations.
According to Santiago Pérez, Cuban ambassador to Belarus, this visit is part of the process of recovery of labor relations between Cuba and Belarus, which culminated in the reception of Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel to the delegation of Belarusian scientists that recently visited the island.
