Cuba appreciates Bolivia's solidarity aid in the face of floods
Havana, June 24 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, expressed today on Twitter his gratitude to Bolivia for sending food to face the situation caused by heavy rains and floods in this Antillean nation.
The sincere gratitude of our people and government comes to the president @LuchoXBolivia and to the brotherly Bolivian people for this new show of solidarity with #Cuba, to face the effects caused by the heavy rains and the fierce blockade, wrote the Cuban foreign minister on the social network.
Rodríguez attached to his message that of the Bolivian president, Luis Alberto Arce, in which he reported on the shipment of 65 tons of food, in solidarity contribution to Cuba.
Several provinces in the eastern Caribbean country are working to compensate for the damage caused by the weather event that recently affected crops, as well as the productive and housing infrastructure in that region.
