Cuba and Vietnam strengthen historic ties of Brotherhood
Havana, Jun 27 (RHC) Cuba and Vietnam reaffirmed their historical and fraternal relations with the visit of Le Hoai Trung, a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV), to Havana.
Hoai Trung met with Cuba’s Communist Party Organization Secretary Roberto Morales on Monday to continue to deepen exchanges between the two political organizations.
Morales and Hoai Trung emphasized the value of preserving the legacy of the revolutionary leaders Fidel Castro and Ho Chi Minh and the basis of the deep relations of brotherhood and solidarity between the two nations and peoples.
The visitor expressed this interest when meeting with Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez.
Hoai Trung, who is also the Chairman of the Foreign Relations Commission at the CPV Central Committee, also met with Rolando González, President of the International Relations Commission at the Cuban National People’s Power Assembly (Parliament) this Monday.
As part of his visit here, the Vietnamese party leader visited the Vietnam-Cuba Project for the development of rice production in the province of Matanzas. (Source: PL)
