Cuba conveys condolences for the tragic train derailment in Pakistan
Havana, Aug 7 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, expressed today through his Twitter account, his condolences to the people and government of Pakistan for the victims of the railway accident.
The Cuban foreign minister wrote on the social network, "we express deep condolences to the people and government of Pakistan for the deaths and injuries caused by the derailment of a train near the city of Nawabshah".
The derailment of a train in Pakistan this Sunday has left at least 30 dead and some 80 injured. Authorities are investigating the causes of the accident, which took place in the Nawabshah district of Sindh province in the south of the country.
Local media reported that there are still bodies that have not been identified. The rescue operations concluded before last midnight, according to the police.
