Cuban Museum of Fine Arts will host colloquium in tribute to 110 years of creation
Havana, Dec 7 (RHC) The National Museum of Fine Arts of Cuba begins this Thursday a two-day colloquium on collecting and collection management in tribute to its 110th anniversary.
Around twenty presentations will focus on the panels which will deal with institutional collecting, scientific work with collections, and educational mediation in museums.
The speakers will talk about approaches to new platforms and their communication experiences for these art venues and their thesauri –an expression referring to a list of terms that represent concepts, also related to library sciences and information sciences.
During the two days of the colloquium, specialists from the Faculty of Arts and Letters of the University of Havana, the University of the Arts, the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana, the National Museum of Decorative Arts, as well as from the National Registry of Cultural Assets will show their most recent studies.
