Workshop on quality vocational training will be held in Cuba
Havana, March 12 (RHC) Cuba is preparing to hold the first International Workshop on Quality and Sustainable Vocational Training, a topic of vital importance for the best preparation of educators for their students.
The event will be held in hybrid mode (in-person and virtual) from November 26 to 28 this year in Havana.
According to the director of Technical and Professional Education of the Ministry of Education, Alexander Manso, the workshop aims at socializing experiences on pedagogical and didactic strategies that contribute to the development of inclusive quality professional training with a focus on gender.
Manso specified that in the context of the international meeting, there will be four symposiums which will address topics such as Comprehensive Quality Vocational Training as an axis for social economic development.
Participants will also analyze the improvement of teachers for Technical and Professional Education, the realities and challenges in vocational training, the transition to a sustainable economy, and the use of 21st century technologies in the preparation of young people.
The event proposes four pre-event courses that will also be carried out in the hybrid modality and will be related to training the mid-level qualified workforce. It will be taught by Cubans and foreign specialists. (Source: PL)
