Cuban university joins the World Alliance of Physical Education

Havana, May 25 (RHC) The Manuel Fajardo University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences made official its entry into the World Alliance of Physical Education, as informed by its rector Silvano Merced.

Leading a delegation from the university in China, Merced made official the membership of this international organization, which is managed from the prestigious East China Normal University.

He was received by Lei Qili, vice president of the entity, who recognized the international prestige of the Cuba sports university and the contributions made to Physical Education and Sports, in addition to exposing the possibilities of exchange and collaboration offered by this Alliance, which has 57 university institutions from 26 countries on five continents.

The parties also signed a collaboration agreement between both universities to explore the possibilities of academic and scientific exchange in the various fields of physical activity and sports. (Source: PL)
