Havana, July 25 (RHC) The hectic activity that usually characterizes the hours before any great celebration has very little to do with the calm that has prevailed in Plaza Mayor General Serafin Sanchez Valdivia, in Sancti Spiritus, where tomorrow the central commemoration of the 71st anniversary of the attack on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Cespedes barracks will take place.
The tranquility of the esplanade is undoubtedly a tangible or visible expression of the security with which the general preparations have been made so that Cuba, with the presence of thousands of people from Sancti Spiritus, will celebrate the National Day of Rebellion from the land of Yayabo.
Therefore, it is not surprising that at the end of this edition, the technical elements of lighting, sound, screens, electrical service, conditions for the capture and transmission of images, chairs and other safeguards were virtually "ready to go all out on the 26th".
The same attention to detail was applied to other matters, such as the traffic and transportation arrangements and the security measures for the transfer to the provincial capital of those who will represent their compatriots from the other seven municipalities of the territory.
At the same time, the organizational bases have been created to attend, with the sensitivity of the legendary city, to the personalities and other guests invited to the event; to conceive a good solidarity meeting, today July 25, with almost one and a half hundred participants from 23 nations, while it is expected to inaugurate part of the works of social impact that, on the occasion of the anniversary and towards the new anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution, Sancti Spíritus has proposed to promote.
In the same way, all the "ropes" are tied that will support the cultural gala scheduled for tonight, in front of the Provincial Library Ruben Martinez Villena, in the Central Park Serafin Sanchez Valdivia, a show that, for about an hour, will condense the best of the cultural talent of Sancti Spiritus, with national representation and marked presence of young values of territorial artistic education. The Plaza, finally, calmly awaits the arrival of the historic morning of Santa Ana.
