Tribute to the Leader of the Cuban Revolution at the Fidel Castro Center
Havana, Aug. 8 (RHC) The Fidel Castro Ruz Center is launching a program of special activities to celebrate the 98th anniversary of the birth of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution.
The day, which is part of the "Along Fidel's Route" project, will begin with music, juggling, laughter and joy, which the Kalboroto children's troupe will radiate in each of its performances.
There will also be several spaces for the enjoyment of traditional games, led by students and professors of the Universidad del Deporte.
The children's group La Colmenita, which will present the play Por Fidel, is also scheduled to perform, according to Anisleidy Páez, director of the Center's Cultural Promotion and Communication Department, who told Prensa Latina.
On the other hand, an exhibition of graphic humor and cartoons from the publications Palante and Dedeté will be inaugurated in the Cinco Palmas Hall.
This month, a graphic humor workshop will be held for children, teenagers and young adults.
During the holiday season, it will also offer other workshops on handicrafts, theater, photography, chess and museology for children of different ages. (Source: Prensa Latina)
