Havana, August 27 (RHC)-- Cuba participated on Monday in the XI Extraordinary Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP).
The event took place virtually and leaders of the region unequivocally expressed their firm support for Venezuelan institutions and the ruling of the highest court in the country, which validated the legitimacy of the electoral process.
Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil stressed that one of the main topics on the agenda was the support for the results of the elections of July 28th that ratified Nicolás Maduro as president of the country for the period 2025-2031.
He stressed before the meeting that the Bolivarian nation has seen excessive foreign interference and the attempts that have been made against the national sovereignty of Venezuela, especially from the United States and Europe. (Source: ACN)
