Paris, November 24 (RHC) -- The 19th edition of the European Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba ended on Sunday in Paris with a declaration and new proposals to support the island in the face of U.S. hostility.
At the headquarters of the French Communist Party (PCF) and after a Saturday day of work in committees, the approximately 300 delegates from thirty countries will review the activities analyzed in view of the adoption of the final declaration and the Paris action plan.
The day before, the participants addressed the fight against the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by Washington, its intensification and consequences, the dissemination of the Cuban reality and the work on social networks against manipulation and misinformation.
They also discussed economic cooperation as a key tool to support the Caribbean nation in the face of the devastating effects of the blockade that has been in place for more than six decades.
