Tokyo, December 4 (RHC) -– The technical-scientific exchange committee of Japan ratified its commitment to strengthen collaboration ties with Cuba during the most recent analysis of their agreement that took place Wednesday in Tokyo.
The Caribbean nation's diplomatic sources indicate that during the meeting, the committee made a restructuring of their board of directors. Marcos Rodríguez, the Cuban ambassador in Tokyo, expressed his hope of deepening the technical-scientific bonds with the Asian powerhouse in 2015.
The Cuban diplomat briefed Japanese participants at the meeting on the current economic and social reforms in Cuba, particularly the new Law of Foreign Investment and the Special Development Zone at the port of Mariel.
Rodríguez ratified Cuba's commitment to work closely with Japan for the future development of bilateral projects.
