Havana, January 12 (RHC) -– A group of entities related to the sectors of economy, services and food production were declared as inefficient by a national internal control audit in the central province of Ciego de Avila.

The entities with low performance included a hair-dressing cooperative, a municipal retail-sale company that markets construction materials and two dairy plants, which had been highly criticized by the people.

The audit, made up of 136 specialists, included 17 entities most of which were evaluated as positive and in the cases singled out as inefficient the control action found no criminal or corruption acts.

Provincial government president, Raul Perez, said that result of the audit does not invite to any satisfaction despite the fact that most entities received favorable evaluation.

“We cannot feel satisfied as the problems reiterate and run contrary to the results reached by the province in 2014,” said the official.

The problems he referred to included poor internal control of resources, lack of appropriate preparation of production plans, poor management that led to financial loss or low quality production, particularly in terms of the sale of construction materials for the people.

General Comptroller’s office representative Jesus Martin said that important enough is to address critical problems and consider subjective factors which were major aspects for the problems found.
