Belgrade, May 13 (TANJUG-RHC) -– Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has decorated Cuban Revolution leader Fidel Castro with the Order of the Republic of Serbia, according to the Official Gazette.
It was announced that Nikolic honored Fidel in this way "for his outstanding contribution to developing and strengthening friendly relations and cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Cuba."
Last Friday in Moscow, the Serbian leader met with his Cuban counterpart, Raul Castro.
Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic has announced that he will be visiting Cuba on May 18th.
