Havana, May 27 (RHC) – The president of El Salvador, Salvador Sanchez Ceren, will meet Wednesday with his Cuban counterpart Raul Castro in Havana.
The Central American leader also toured the Cuban capital’s world-renowned Center of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology.
Speaking to reporters in Havana, Sanchez Ceren confirmed that one of the aims of the official visit is to strengthen scientific-technical cooperation with Cuba, which began almost six years ago.
Furthermore, the Salvadoran leader said he was seeking to increase cultural collaboration.
