Havana, September 10 (RHC)-- Cuba will host the 3rd Meeting of the Culture Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), set for September 18th and 19th.
In statements to reporters, Cuban Deputy Culture Minister Fernando Rojas, said it will be the first time Cuba organizes a meeting of this kind. He added that delegations from 28 CELAC member states have already confirmed their participation, including 18 culture ministers.
CELAC's Cultural Action Plan will be at the center of debate, particularly a review of objectives and programs agreed upon at two previous such meetings in Surinam and Venezuela, and also at the three CELAC Summits, held in Chile, Cuba and Costa Rica.
