Havana, June 8 (RHC)-- The National Crafts Fair Art for Dad begins this Wednesday in Havana with the participation of more than 60 creators of the various manifestations.
Organized by the Cuban Fund for Cultural Goods (FCBC), the event will be held for 10 days at the Linea y 18 Cultural Station, where artisans will sell their products in more than 80 stands set up for that purpose.
According to the organizers, creators working under different forms of management will converge in this venue, including the non-state, who see in the fair an important promotional platform for their products.
As in previous editions of the event, the proposals include footwear, furniture, textiles, furniture, jewelry, goldsmithing, ceramics and fine arts reproductions.
The initiative to hold a handicrafts fair dedicated to parents began in 2017, in the eastern city of Santiago de Cuba, but the success decided the FCBC to extend the experience to the rest of the country.
