Havana, May 12 (RHC) -- Cuban writer Francisco López Sacha presented this Friday his book "El más suave de todos los veranos" (The mildest of all summers), published by Ediciones Cubanas, at the Casa del Alba Cultural in Havana.
Set in the capital of the largest Antillean island during the summer of 1996, the novel narrates the development of the romantic relationship between an editor and a nurse in the midst of the political, economic and social transitions the island is going through after the fall of the socialist camp.
"It is a story of love, eroticism and feelings, but also a study on the value of memory, memories and nostalgia because I have no prejudices when it comes to telling," said the author.
The volume will be available to the public in physical form in all the stores of the Cuban Artex group, and in the digital bookstores of the Legua and Ruth Casa Editorial publishing houses.
