Havana, August 24 (RHC) – The Cuban Women´s Baseball team defeated Nicaragua 15-14 and now they sit in 4th place of the leader-board of the 1st Pan-Am Women´s Baseball Championship.
The Cubans currently have a record of 2-2, after defeating Puerto Rico (11-9) in the Opening Game and losing then to Mexico (6-7) and Canada (5-7). This Wednesday, the United States beat Canada 21-4; Mexico defeated Venezuela (3-2) and the Dominican Republic beat Puerto Rio (12-6). This event will give 4 tickets to the Women´s Baseball World Championship that will be held in 2020.
