With a very long homer of Osniel Madera in the nick of times closing the 11th inning, Pinar del Río got an anthology victory over Matanzas in the 5th game of the 53rd Cuban Baseball League finals.
Madera rose from their seats to thousands of spectators at Capitán San Luis Stadium in the city of Pinar del Rio, with the biggest and electrifying homer of his career.
Pinar del Rio's triumph began to take shape at the end of the 9th when it managed to tie dramatically to 8, with a rally of 3 runs that left everyone speechless in Matanzas team and its supporters.
Now, the series for the national crown moved the balance 3-2 in favor of Pinar del Río, but the remaining 2 clashes will be staged at the Victoria Stadium Giron, Matanzas' fairground and fortress.

Osleni, ranked as 4th seed in the tournament, faced for the 1st time in his career the American Lee, who to come to the discussion of the title had to defeat Guatemalan Kevin Cordon, while the Caribbean beat Frenchman Arnaud Genin.
This is the 1st win of the year for the Cuban, who starts 2014 with 3rd place at the Giraldilla Tournament of Havana and was crowned in 7 of 11 tops in which he participated in 2013.
