Buenos Aires, November 17 (RHC/PL)-- With four games to go until the end of the South American qualifiers, Argentina finally got the ticket to Qatar 2022 after a scoreless draw with Brazil.
It was the result of the Chile-Ecuador game that assured direct qualification to the Albiceleste, minutes after a 0-0 draw at home with Brazil.
Lionel Scaloni's national team was undefeated in its qualification and with 29 points in the standings, it is second only to Brazil, which has already qualified, in the qualifying round.
Chile's defeat against Ecuador gave the ticket to the Argentine national team, which thus closes a great year with its qualification assured. "Qualifiers to Qatar2022, here we go!", the team said on its official twitter account, after learning the good news.
The national team will now rest for the rest of November and December to start in January against Chile, in a more comfortable and calm way and play the four remaining matches until March, already thinking about sweeping Qatar.
