Agricultores and Tabacaleros took the lead in the First Cuban Baseball Elite League, after defeating Portuarios and Centrales, respectively, for the second consecutive day.

Havana, December 7 (JIT) -- With an offense of 11 hits, the Portuarios team defeated the leader Agricultores 3-1 at the beginning of the fourteenth particular sub-series of the First Cuban Elite Baseball League.

With just one out in the seventh inning, the left-handed Mario Batista signed his second victory of the tournament. For the Portuarios, Lazaro Martinez and Alexander Pozo were outstanding, both hitting 4-2, while Yasiel Santoya hit a home run.

Meanwhile, Tabacaleros left Centrales 6-5 on the field, with Juan Carlos Arencibia (2-2 and four runs scored).

The game between Ganaderos and Cafetaleros was sealed by darkness when it was tied 1-1 in the seventh episode.

After these results, Agricultores (22-13) leads, followed by Centrales (19-17) and Tabacaleros (18-17). Ganaderos and Cafetaleros are tied (15-18) and Portuarios (15-21) close the table.
