Cuba's Robertlandy Simón
Havana, January 31 (RHC) -- Cubans Robertlandy Simón, Wilfredo León, Jesús Herrera and Marlon Yant had outstanding performances in the most recent day in the Italian volleyball Super League, the best in the world.

Perugia continues unstoppable in the league, thanks to Cuban Herrera and Polish nationalized Leon, the latter the MVP in the win against Milan Melgarejo (3-0).
Leon left with 15 points, as did the left-handed Herrera, while Melgarejo scored 7 for Milan.
Marlon Yant continued to show his best level, being again the best scorer of his club (21 points), but his contribution was enough for Lube Civitanova to beat Verona (2-3).
Another Cuban who stood out in the most recent date of the Superliga is José Miguel Gutiérrez (15 points with Cistena, which lost to Modena 1-3.
The standings are still led by Perugia of Cubans León, Herrera and Julio César Cárdenas, undefeated with 17-0 and 51 points, escorted by Trentino and Modena (10-7), and Lube and Piacenza (9-8).
