Volleyball champions in San Salvador
Havana, July 5 (RHC) - The Cuban men's volleyball team faces the host United States on Wednesday in Anaheim, California, in the beginning of the third week of the Nations League (VNL).
After winning the Centrocaribes in San Salvador, the Cubans traveled to the United States for the third week of the VNL, in which they have two wins, while the United States, reigning champion, is in second place with 7 wins, behind leader Japan, which has 9.
After the opener against the United States, the Cubans will play on Thursday against Serbia, on Friday against Germany, a direct rival in their aspirations to remain in the VNL, and close their schedule on Saturday 9 against Iran, a team that has not had a good tournament and will suffer the absence of some players who did not receive the visa to travel to the United States.
