Bogotá, March 27 (RHC-Xinhua), -- Colombia's President Juan Manuel Santos met Sunday with Rodrigo Londono, top leader of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), as part of meetings to follow up on the implementation of the peace agreement between the two sides.

The meeting between the two leaders took place in the department of Bolivar, where Santos wrote on Twitter that they discussed crucial topics, such as the disarmament process and the reincorporation of FARC guerrilla members into society.

"We revised advances in the disarmament timeline, ZVTN (zones of transition and normalization), reincorporation and regulatory issues," wrote Santos.

The president also said that delegations from the government and the FARC had met in the city of Cartagena this weekend, to mark 100 days since the implementation of the peace process began.

"In these two days, the government and FARC have met to mark the implementation of the Peace Agreement. They gave me a report: it is progress," continued Santos.
