Bridgetown, February 18 (RHC)-- An earthquake of 6.7 magnitude on the Richter scale hit the north region of Barbados this morning, as reported by the U.S. Geological Service.
Local sources reported in Bridgetown that according to that entity, the epicenter of this earthquake, which occured at 5:27 a.m. local time, was located about 170 kilometers northeast of Bathsheba, in the Caribbean country, with a depth of 20 kilometers.
So far, there are no reports of infrastructure damage or casualties.
