Washington, February 28 (RHC)-- Immigrant rights groups in the United States are expressing outrage after the Donald Trump administration announced it’s creating a task force to strip the citizenship of naturalized Americans who were born abroad.
Critics say the Justice Department’s so-called Denaturalization Section is likely unconstitutional. The immigrant rights group CHIRLA said in response: “Trump is weaponizing the DOJ to make naturalized immigrants look like second-class citizens.
