President-elect of Bolivia calls for peace and harmony
La Paz, November 2 (RHC)-- Bolivian President-elect Luis Arce has called for rebuilding peace and economic stability in the country, condemning the destabilizing maneuvers of small, right-wing groups in the department of Santa Cruz.
With only six days away from his inauguration in Bolivia, Luis Arce rejected on his personal Twitter account the violent attack on businesses and homes in Santa Cruz by minority groups that harm the nation.
The winning candidate for the Movement Towards Socialism (MAS) called on the Bolivian people to reflect with the purpose of returning to the path of peace, and economic and social stability.
Luis Arce will be sworn-in to office next Sunday, November 8th. Former Bolivian President Evo Morales, who as ousted during a U.S.-supported coup last year, plans to return to his native Bolivia the next day, on November 9th.
