Hundreds of thousands in the streets to protest Colombian government of Ivan Duque

Bogota, May 12 (RHC)-- Protests for the national strike in Colombia are taking place across the country.  Within the framework of the National Strike that has been going on for 15 days in the country, the union leadership called for mobilizations in Bogotá and other cities of the country for this Wednesday, May 12, "For Peace and Life" and against violence.

On Wednesday, protests were held in Bogota, Cali, Medellin and other cities of the South American country against the neoliberal policies of the Colombian government and the repression exercised by the security forces against the demonstrators.

The National Strike Committee, the main organization that brings together union and civil sectors, will hold a general assembly in Cali, after the failure of negotiations with the Government last Monday.
