Costa Rica reports 3,552 new COVID-19 cases in one week

San Jose, December 12 (RHC)-- The Directorate of Health Surveillance of the Ministry of Public Health (Minsa) of Costa Rica reported Friday that in the week between November 27 and December 3, 3,552 new cases of COVID-19 were reported.

According to the report of epidemiological week 48, cases increased by 764, compared to the previous week, when 2,788 positive cases were reported.  The Health Ministry also reported that there were 88 admissions, 14 of them to Intensive Care Units (ICU) and 74 to the ward.
