Hanoi, Jun 26 (RHC) The official visit of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to China, which will last until next Wednesday, is the center of attention of the Vietnamese press and media.

The VNA news agency highlighted the official reception ceremony for the Vietnamese head of government, held this morning at the Great Hall of the People in Bejing and presided over by his counterpart, Li Qiang.

VNA also spotlighted the meeting between the foreign ministers of Vietnam, Bui Thanh Son, and China, Qin Gang, who discussed measures to promote good relations between the two Communist Parties and States.

According to news reports, the Vietnamese Foreign Minister stressed the great importance that Vietnam attaches to the development of the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with China, calling it a top priority in its foreign policy.

The Nhan Dan newspaper pointed out the statements made by Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam, Nguyen Minh Vu, who said that the Prime Minister’s official visit marks an important development step in relations between the two countries, and takes place when both celebrate the 15th anniversary of their strategic comprehensive partnership.

The Deputy Foreign Minister of Vietnam also expressed that the visit of the Prime Minister of Vietnam to China continues the tradition of high-level meetings and exchanges between the two countries and should contribute to strengthen political trust and finding solutions to the issues on which both have differences.
