Gaza City, July 8 (RHC)-- Palestinians are fleeing parts of Gaza City after the Israeli military expanded “immediate” evacuation orders to the Tuffah, Darraj and Old City neighborhoods on Sunday.
Meanwhile, international war criminal and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Tel Aviv will only agree to a deal with Hamas that allows it to “resume fighting” in Gaza while Defense Minister Yoav Gallant says Israel will keep fighting with Lebanon’s Hezbollah even if a deal is reached in Gaza.
Media reports say mediated truce talks are expected to continue in Egypt and Qatar this week.
In other news, Israeli forces bombed another school sheltering hundreds of civilians in Gaza City, killing at least four people. The attack came a day after Israeli forces hit a United Nations-run shelter in Nuseirat and killed at least 16 people.
At least 38,153 people have been killed and 87,828 wounded in Israel’s genocidal war of aggression on Gaza since October 7th last year -- nine months ago.
