Venezuela’s Electoral Council delivers minutes of presidential elections to the Supreme Court

Caracas, August 7 (RHC)-- The president of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ), Caryslia Beatriz Rodríguez Rodríguez, presided over the act of handing over the documents requested to the National Electoral Council (CNE).  On August 2nd, the Commission requested that the minutes of the presidential elections held on July 28th be recorded within three days.

The president of the CNE, Elvis Amoroso, together with the directors of the entity, registered before the Electoral Chamber of the TSJ the minutes of the polls, the final totalization, the award, the proclamation and evidence of the cyber attack against the institution.

The act of this afternoon was carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 14, Third Paragraph of the Organic Law of the TSJ.

“The rectors and rectors of the CNE, acting in accordance with the constitutional mandate issued by the TSJ, are referred to this highest judicial body here and at the secretariat, everything requested by the highest court of the republic is recorded”, said Amoroso.
