Amazonas, Nov. 29 (RHC)-- High-ranking government delegations from Venezuela and Colombia are participating in the 3rd Bilateral Meeting on the Drawing up and Implementation of a Joint Protocol for the Prevention and Monitoring of Border Incidents.
Sources of the Venezuelan Foreign Ministry have stated that the delegations will also discuss illegal mining activities and other related offenses.
The meeting is in response to commitments made by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Rafael Ramírez and Colombia, María Angela Holguín, at a previous meeting in Caracas on November 19th to discuss new methods and tougher measures in their common fight against organized crime.
